In 1923, the grandfathers of today's owners, Vincens and Josef Ouhrabek, founded a company under the name OUHRABEK BROTHERS. From the very beginning, their efforts were focused on making the products of this new company equal to the best foreign brands. She succeeded. Within a short period of time, products under the B.O. GARANTIE name have become a recognized first-class brand, having the best sound both on the domestic market and on the European and overseas markets. The initial production of wooden coffee grinders was expanded to include TRAMP travel grinders and spice grinders. After World War II, the company produced fifty different types of coffee grinders and spice grinders. The company's activities were forcibly abolished in 1950 by a nationalization decree and transferred to the new state enterprise ORLICKÉ STROJÍRNY. On October 15, 1991, the grandsons of the Ouhrabek brothers continued the family tradition of producing coffee grinders and spice grinders by founding the company LODOS s.r.o (LOmnické DOmácí Strojky). The company's concept is based on further development and improvement of the quality of traditional products and a substantial expansion of the product range with new useful kitchen utensils. The production is supplemented by business activities with products from abroad, which suitably complement our own production program. Extensive investment construction and the purchase of new technologies will guarantee further expansion of production and quality improvement. The goal of the owners of the company is for the LODOS brand to achieve as good a reputation as B.O. GARANTIE of the company's founders.
