Origin of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee:
The beans come only from high-altitude Arabica plantations. To be classified as Jamaica Blue Mountain, coffee must be grown at elevations up to 1,800 meters in the southern part of Jamaica, covering about 6,000 hectares. Around 25,000 small farmers work on these plantations in the Blue Mountains. The coffee is strictly controlled by the Jamaica Coffee Industry Board to ensure and improve quality. Production is very limited, and most of it is exported to Japan, making it a rare, exclusive delicacy.

Caffè New York has over eighty years of tradition. The family roastery was founded by the owner of the New York café in the spa town of Montecatini Terme in Tuscany. In the early 1930s, Ugo Incerpi purchased a coffee roasting machine to offer a special product to spa guests. The coffee quickly gained popularity, and people even traveled from Florence on weekends to taste it. Since the 1930s, the brand has featured a black woman logo on its packaging, which is still used today.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the founder’s son, Onori Oscar, expanded the business significantly, making it competitive with major Italian roasters. The tradition is now continued by the third generation, preserving the original family approach to coffee production.
