Chemex Coffee maker for 1-3 cups, wooden corset

In 1941, chemistry doctor Peter J. Schlumbohm invented a designer coffee machine whose face has not changed even after more than 70 years. And no wonder, there is no need for it. The world-admired and valued Chemex CM-3A Pour Over 3 is slowly finding a place among Czech coffee lovers. Its author himself claims that "even the largest oven can prepare excellent coffee with the help of Chemex."

The Chemex, at first glance reminiscent of a water carafe, is made of borosilicate glass and has a wooden corset tied with a leather strap in the middle.

Coffee preparation is really easy, just insert a paper filter from the top, rinse it with hot water, pour in the appropriate amount of medium-fine ground coffee and slightly brew with water. As soon as the first drops of coffee start to fall, add water, stirring occasionally.

For perfect results, we recommend purchasing Chemex paper filters for 1-3 cups.
