JAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAIN

Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is typical for its exceptional taste and is often referred to as the queen of coffees. It can be recognized in the cup by its full, slightly sour and sweet taste. Its unique aroma is unusually strong and very attractive to coffee connoisseurs. The undeniable quality of Blue Mountain coffee, coupled with another factor – limited quantities – leads to high demand, which is reflected in the price of this premium product.

The cradle of Jamaican coffee is the mountains. They rise from the narrow coastal plain to meet inland and form a spine running across the island from east to west. The highest are the Blue Mountains in the east, reaching a height of 2,256 meters.

The Blue Mountain variety grows at higher altitudes in the eastern parishes of St. Thomas, Portland, and St. Andrew, within a 10-mile radius of Blue Mountain Peak. This is where coffee is created that is close to perfect balance – aroma, fullness, acidity and sweetness create an unmistakably pure taste and aroma.
