Balada Coffee – Ecuador Altura El Oro

One of the most interesting aspects of Ecuadorian coffee is its colorfulness and diversity. This is mainly due to the varied ecosystems throughout the country, as Ecuador stretches from the Amazon, across the Andean mountain ranges, to the Galápagos Islands.

Since we've only had the most pleasant taste experiences with Ecuadorian coffee, we decided to include it in our offer.

Specifically, we selected a high-altitude specialty 100% Arabica from the "El Oro" province. This premium Arabica stands out for its rich, full body with floral undertones, mild acidity, and excellent aroma. Ecuador’s "El Oro" province is the southernmost coastal region of the country. Its name derives from its historically significant gold production, and today it is also renowned not only for its banana production but also for its distinctive premium Arabica coffee.

For this coffee, we chose a medium-dark roast, which offers the best balance between fruitiness and acidity.

The highest-grown Arabica coffee plants in the world are believed to be in Ecuador. Ecuador is one of the few South American countries cultivating both Arabica and Robusta. The best Arabica coffee comes from the Andean slopes.

Our coffees come from around the world, and for every Balada Coffee, we know exactly which farm or coffee region it comes from. We love full flavor, strong body, pleasant fruitiness, and only mild acidity. That’s why we roast our beans “medium.”

In our selection, we offer coffees suitable for espresso, milk drinks, as well as filters and AeroPress.

It’s very important to us that our coffees reach you fresh, so we deliver them just a few days after roasting.

Foundation for Premature Babies and Their Families

This foundation was established in December 2013 by Hana Píšová and Markéta Stránská, based on their personal experience with the birth of prematurely born twins. The goal of the foundation is to help families of premature babies who find themselves in difficult financial and emotional situations. The foundation always supports a specific family and their specific needs related to premature birth.
