Balada Coffee Panama SHB Boquete is a selection of high-altitude 100% Arabica coffee offering a full body with tones of nuts and bitter chocolate. This coffee is grown on mountain plantations in the west of Panama in the Boquete region, on the slopes of the Baru volcano.
Balada Coffee Panama SHB Boquete is a selection of high-altitude 100% Arabica coffee offering a full body with tones of nuts and bitter chocolate. This coffee is grown on mountain plantations in the west of Panama in the Boquete region, on the slopes of the Baru volcano.
Our coffee is grown at altitudes from 1400 to 1800 meters above sea level. Due to this altitude, the coffee can have the abbreviation SHB (Strictly High Bean) which points out that the beans of this coffee grew more slowly due to the colder alpine conditions, which is positively reflected in its high quality. For this coffee, we chose a medium-dark roast, which offers the best ratio between fruitiness and acidity.
At Balada Coffee, we paid particular attention to premium quality, and for this reason we approached a small group of farmers. They have been cultivating their plantations together for several generations. The care they devote to each individual grain was especially important to us.
