The great attraction of coffee from Ecuador is its variety and diversity. This is mainly due to the variation of different ecosystems throughout the country, as Ecuador stretches from the Amazon, through the mountain ranges of the Andes to the island Galapagos Islands.

Since we have only the most pleasant taste experiences associated with Ecuadorian coffee, we decided to include it in our offer.

Specifically, we have selected high-altitude 100% Arabica from the province of ''El Oro''. This premium Arabica stands out for its rich full body with undertones of flowers, delicate acidity and excellent aroma. The Ecuadorian province of "El Oro" is the southernmost coastal province of the country. The name of the province was created on the basis of historically significant gold production and today, in addition to its banana production, it is also famous for its distinctive and premium Arabica coffee. For this coffee, we chose a medium-dark roast, which offers the best balance between fruitiness and acidity.

The highest arabica coffee trees in the world are considered to be those in Ecuador. Ecuador is one of the few South American countries growing both Arabica and Robusta. The best Arabica coffee comes from the slopes of the Andes.

Balada Coffee - Panama SHB Boquete, Hacienda La Esmeralda, 250g, grain

Balada Coffee Panama SHB Boquete is a selection of high-altitude 100% Arabica coffee offering a full body with tones of nuts and bitter chocolate. This coffee is grown on mountain plantations in the west of Panama in the Boquete region, on the slopes of the Baru volcanic volcano.

Our coffee is grown at altitudes from 1400 to 1800 meters above sea level. Thanks to this altitude, the coffee can have the abbreviation SHB (Strictly High Bean) in its name, which points out that the beans of this coffee grew more slowly due to the colder alpine conditions, which is positively reflected in its high quality. For this coffee, we chose a medium-dark roast, which offers the best ratio between fruitiness and acidity. At Balada Coffee, we paid particular attention to premium quality, and for this reason we approached a small group of farmers. They have been cultivating their plantations together for several generations. The care they devote to each individual grain was especially important to us.

Balada Coffee - Bolivia Organic Colonial Caranavi, 250g, grain

Ato freshly roasted 100% Arabica is distinguished by its full, but delicate body with hints of nutty and slightly spicy taste. It comes from the mahogany forests of the small coffee farming group Colonial Caranavi, which lies in the north of Bolivia and includes 41 small farmers. Each of them then cultivates an average of three acres of Bourbon and Typica arabica coffee trees at altitudes sometimes reaching up to 1800 m above sea level.

In addition to a sense of continuous improvement in the quality of their coffee, the farmers of the Colonial Caranavi group place emphasis on improving ecological cultivation processes, which not only excludes the use of pesticides and other chemical fertilizers, but also aims to improve the character of the local landscape. For this coffee, we chose a medium-dark roast, which offers the best ratio between fruitiness and acidity. Bolivian coffee is grown at altitudes from 1,280 to 1,820 meters and the Arabica beans grown are exported mainly to Europe. The highest quality coffee is grown in the Yungas region, which is located along the Andean Mountains. Bolivia does not produce as much coffee as its neighboring country, but all the more interesting and novel coffees can be found here.
