Chemex was invented in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm. He created the design based on his chemical experience - hence the name Chemex. This hourglass-shaped one-piece container is made of high-quality heat-resistant glass. The glass from which Chemex is made does not absorb odors and therefore has no effect on the taste of coffee. Made in the United States.

In addition to functionality, the Chemex is also characterized by its world-famous design. You can find it in the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York.  With Chemex, you can prepare your favorite coffee very easily in a few minutes.

In addition to CHEMEX, paper filters and good coffee are sufficient, which must be poured over water (6-7g of coffee per 100 ml of water).
